The Music University offers online music lessons for music in the real world. Offering online vocal lessons, piano lessons, guitar lessons, bass lessons, drum lessons, and songwriting lessons for all ages.

Voice

Vocal lessons are instructed by Leslie Wright, and offered to both children and adults Monday through Saturday from 9am to 11pm. All classes are one-on-one via Skype.

Vocal lessons consist of more than just vocal training. Leslie teaches students to find their passion for singing. She offers non-traditional lessons that bring out the best in each student including lessons in pitch, breathing, style, emotion, dynamics, harmony, audience connection, working the mic, stage presence, and more.

Piano/Keyboard

Piano/Keyboard lessons are instructed by Leslie Wright, and offered to both children and adults Monday through Saturday from 9am to 11pm. All classes are one-on-one via Skype.

Piano lessons vary depending on the level of the student and may include hearing pitch, reading sheet music, reading/writing the Nashville Number System, playing by ear, learning rhythm, playing single notes, playing chords, playing styles (pop, jazz, blues), and playing with dynamics for performance.

When the student is ready, additional studies are available including recording, building a fan base online, and touring/booking.

Guitar

Guitar lessons are instructed by Randall George, and offered to both children and adults Monday through Thursday from 9am to 11pm. All classes are one-on-one via Skype.

Guitar lessons can be played with either an acoustic or electric guitar and vary depending on the level of the student. Lessons may include hearing pitch, reading sheet music, reading/writing the Nashville Number System, playing by ear, learning rhythm, playing single notes, playing chords, playing styles (country, jazz, blues), and playing with dynamics for performance.

Bass Guitar

Bass guitar lessons are instructed by Randall George, and offered to both children and adults Monday through Thursday from 9am to 11pm. All classes are one-on-one via Skype.

Bass guitar lessons vary depending on the level of the student. Lessons may include hearing pitch, reading sheet music, reading/writing the Nashville Number System, playing by ear, learning rhythm, playing basic patterns, playing complex riffs, styles (country, jazz, blues), and playing with dynamics for performance.

Drums

Drum lessons are instructed by Randall George, and offered to both children and adults Monday through Thursday from 9am to 11pm. All classes are one-on-one via Skype.¬† You do not need to own a drum set to begin drum lessons! Randall learned to play drums using stacks of magazines… he can teach you to play no matter what kind of “drums” you have!

Drum lessons vary depending on the level of the student. Lessons may include feeling rhythm, reading/writing the Nashville Number System, playing by ear, playing basic patterns, playing full songs, styles (country, pop, jazz, blues), and playing with dynamics for performance.

Songwriting & the Music Business

Songwriting lessons are instructed by Leslie Wright, and offered to both children and adults Monday through Saturday from 9am to 11pm. All classes are one-on-one via Skype.

Songwriting lessons consist learning the craft of songwriting (lyrics, music, or both) through several different approaches. Depending on the writer’s skills, lessons will include writing from the title, descriptive writing, brainstorming, timed writing, co-writing, finding hooks, writing commercially, writing for tv/film, writing melodies, chord structuring, song pitching, legal aspects, publishing, copyrighting, PRO info, and licensing.

When the student is ready, additional studies in music business are available including recording, publishing, building a fan base online, and touring/booking.
